DLF gains on the buzz of being in talks with PVR for selling DT Cinemas

DLF is currently trading at Rs. 124.60, up by 0.40 points or 0.32 % from its previous closing of Rs. 124.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 125.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 127.00 and Rs. 124.00 respectively. So far 428018 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 242.80 on 09-Jun-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 100.00 on 16-Oct-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 127.85 and Rs. 120.65 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 22167.18 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.91 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 20.93 % and 4.16 % respectively.

DLF is reportedly in advance talks with PVR to sell DT Cinemas, its wholly-owned subsidiary which owns theatre screens in and around Delhi. This would be PVR’s second attempt to acquire DT Cinemas after 2009, when it entered into definitive agreement with the DLF Group. That deal called off due some legal issues.
