Gayatri Projects trades jubilantly as Mentor Capital buys stake

Gayatri Projects is currently trading at Rs. 196.70, up by 14.30 points or 7.84% from its previous closing of Rs. 182.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 184.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 203.90 and Rs. 184.00 respectively. So far 15856 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 203.90 on 21-May-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 94.30 on 21-May-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 203.90 and Rs. 161.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 576.73 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 50.32% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 36.34% and 13.33% respectively.

Mentor Capital has bought stake in the construction & engineering company Gayatri Projects through open market. On May 15, the investment firm purchased 255,020 shares of the company at an average price of Rs 162.34 per share.
