Ashoka Buildcon in demand on commencing toll collection for NHAI project

Ashoka Buildcon is currently trading at Rs. 207.00, up by 8.65 points or 4.36% from its previous closing of Rs. 198.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 205.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 210.00 and Rs. 201.10 respectively.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 307.70 on 25-Mar-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs. 180.00 on 10-Jan-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 210.00 and Rs. 194.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1058.75 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 67.23% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 18.52% and 14.24% respectively. 

Ashoka Buildcon has started toll collection, for its National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) project of construction, operation and maintenance of end of durg bypass - Chattisgarh / Maharashtra Border Section from K.M. 322.400 to K.M. 405.000 of NH-6 in the state of Chattisgarh under NHDP phase IIIA on Build Operate and Transfer (BOT) basis. The company has started the toll collection from February 15, 2012.

Ashoka Buildcon builds and operates roads and bridges in India on a build, operate and transfer (BOT) basis. It currently operates one of the highest numbers of toll-based BOT projects in India.
