BEML gains on inaugurating district office at Leh

BEML is currently trading at Rs. 1041.10, up by 2.50 points or 0.24 % from its previous closing of Rs. 1038.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1050.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1068.40 and Rs. 985.20 respectively. So far 64696 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1200.00 on 09-Apr-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 514.75 on 26-Aug-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1151.70 and Rs. 942.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4293.13 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 54.03 % while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 26.82 % and 19.15 % respectively.

BEML, a Defence public sector company, has opened its district office at Leh. With this, the company has become the first Defence PSU to establish an office in Leh. The newly opened office is located at an altitude between 10,500 feet and 22,000 feet and the ambient temperature varies from (+)25 degree to (-)35 degree with the presence of oxygen as low at 50 per cent MSL.

Through this office, BEML will be extending after sales support to its mining and construction equipment deployed through DGBR and E-In-C. The marketing network of BEML comprises 12 regional offices, four zonal service centres and 17 district offices, including Leh across the country, to extend after sales service support to its customer round the clock.

BEML, the brand name over a period of five decades, known for its huge Mining & Construction Equipment like Dozers, Excavators, Draglines, Rope Shovels, Pipe Layers etc., has not only maintaining major share in the domestic market, but also has sizeable presence in overseas markets.
