Lanco Infratech gains on eyeing installed capacity of 8,000 MW in three years

Lanco Infratech is currently trading at Rs. 4.25, up by 0.05 points or 1.19% from its previous closing of Rs. 4.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 4.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 4.40 and Rs. 4.20 respectively. So far 1,57,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 13.32 on 03-Jul-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 3.90 on 03-Jun-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 4.98 and Rs. 3.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1,034.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 68.06% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 5.51% and 26.43% respectively.

Lanco Infratech is planning to take up the installed capacity to 8,000 MW within three years. This would help it to improve the performance of the power projects and the EPC arm.

Lanco’s Kondapalli gas-fired project, with an installed capacity of 1,108 MW, has been one of the successful bidders in the gas pooling bids called by the Government for financial years 2016 and 2017. This would enable the company to run the plants for four months starting this month. The project will receive power system development fund support of Rs 1.42 per unit.
