Central Bank of India has slashed interest rates for home loans by 0.25 percent and has waived off the processing fees in order to prop up the sagging home loan market. The bank is offering a blanket waiver of processing fees for loans across amounts and tenors till March 31, 2012.
Recently, the bank had bagged Golden Peacock Award for innovative product or service for its retail product-Cent Sahayog launched in October 2011. Cent Sahayog was designed to strengthen the micro and small manufacturers and service providers (MSE) through a process of fast credit delivery.
Central Bank of India was the first Indian commercial bank, which was wholly owned and managed by Indians.
