Bajaj Electricals trades in fine fettle on bagging orders worth Rs 84.54 crore

Bajaj Electricals is currently trading at Rs. 284.75, up by 3.35 points or 1.19% from its previous closing of Rs. 281.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 279.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 285.80 and Rs. 279.00 respectively. So far 9602 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 377.80 on 04-Jul-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 191.00 on 01-Dec-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 291.35 and Rs. 260.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2871.73 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 63.06% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 18.53% and 18.41% respectively.

Bajaj Electricals has bagged 3 new orders from Odisha Power Transmission Corporation worth Rs 84.54 crore. The company has received order worth Rs 28 crore for construction of 2x20 MVA 132/33KV substations at 'Tusura' in Bolangir district and associated 132KV LILO line from existing Bolangir-Saintala line on turnkey basis.

The company bagged another contract worth Rs 31.27 crore for construction of 2x20 MVA 132/33KV substation at 'Ghens' in Baragarh district and associated 132KV transmission line form proposed 220/132/33KV Baragarh substation on turnkey basis. The company has also the bagged order worth Rs 25.27 crore for construction of 132KV SC line from 132/33KV Kesinga Grid substation to 132/33KV Junagarh Grid substation with construction of feeder bays at each substation on turnkey basis.
