Nifty June futures saw an addition of 0.06 million (mn) units, taking the total outstanding open interest (OI) to 16.65 million (mn) units. The near month derivatives contract will expire on June 25, 2015.
From the most active contracts, State Bank of India June 2015 futures traded at a premium of 0.50 points at 254.95 compared with spot closing of 254.45. The number of contracts traded were 17,518.
ICICI Bank June 2015 futures traded at a premium of 0.15 points at 296.30 compared with spot closing of 296.15. The number of contracts traded were 21,349.
HDFC Bank June 2015 futures traded at a premium of 1.10 points at 1008.05 compared with spot closing of 1006.95. The number of contracts traded were 21,759.
Tata Motors June 2015 futures traded at a premium of 0.55 points at 423.50 compared with spot closing of 422.95. The number of contracts traded were 23,820.
Reliance Industries June 2015 futures traded at a discount of 1.20 points at 890.30 compared with spot closing of 891.50. The number of contracts traded were 30,401.
