Corporation Bank has informed that the Bank have been informed by the Indian Banks Association, vide their Circular letter dated June 08, 2015, that they have received a notice from the General Secretary of All India Bank Employees Association, informing their decision to go on a day’s nation-wide strike on June 24, 2015, in support of their demands. A major section of the Banks employees belonging to the workmen union having allegiance to the above national level union, may take part in the proposed one days strike on June 24, 2015, if the strike materialises. In view of the above, it is likely that the normal functioning of the Banks Branches and offices may get affected during the day the union has given the strike call.
