Tata Power’s JV inks MoU with CIC-DU

Tata Power Delhi Distribution (TPDDL), a joint venture (JV) of Tata Power and Government of Delhi, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Cluster Innovation Centre –University of Delhi (CIC-DU) to jointly commence research and develop projects in the area of electricity distribution technology. The two institutions will identify the research areas relating to development of new products and technology in the electricity distribution sector and also undertake a holistic study on the electricity consumption pattern in Delhi and at other locations within the country.

According to the MoU, TPDDL will provide the necessary industrial exposure to the CIC-DU and it will make use of the same in furtherance of the broad objectives of this MoU. TPDDL being a front runner in technologies and innovation in the field of power distribution always came forward to support new ideas and young minds in premier institutions like Delhi University.
