United Bank of India inaugurates first ultra small branch

United Bank of India has opened its first ultra small branch at Rainda village in Murshidabad district at West Bengal on February 18, 2012. The ultra small branch would provide its services to the residents of the unbanked village Rainda through BC Model using ICT solution at their doorstep.

The banking services to be extended would include opening of no frill savings account with inbuilt overdraft facility, deposit and withdrawal in the account, kisan credit card / general credit card to the eligible farm / non farm families, remittance of funds, micro insurance and micro pension.

United Bank of India has emerged as a strong and efficient banking organisation over the years and plays an integral role in the socio-economic development of the Eastern and North-Eastern States of the country.
