Scooters India has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2011.

Scooters India has reported net loss of Rs 4.93 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011, against net loss of Rs 5.56 crore for the corresponding period last fiscal. However total income increased by 47.21% at Rs 54.97crore during the quarter under review from Rs 37.34 crore in the year-ago period.

Scooters India is a Lucknow-based automobile firm that designs, develops, produces and sells a range of three-wheelers. It is known for manufacturing the Lambretta scooters, popular in late 1970s and 1980s.
