TVS Motors gains on launching special edition 'TVS XL Super'

TVS Motor Company is currently trading at Rs 258.50, up by 1.25 points or 0.49% from its previous closing of Rs 257.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 258.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs 262.45 and Rs 257.00 respectively. So far 189880 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 322.30 on 19-Jan-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs 141.15 on 25-Jul-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 262.45 and Rs. 235.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 12319.01 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 57.40% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 26.34% and 16.26% respectively.

TVS Motors has launched a special edition of its legendary TVS XL Super. The new variant will come in two never before colors of Silver Grey and Titanium Grey, which have been specially created for the occasion. In addition TVS XL Super will have special graphics, a dual texture seat with stitch lines, chrome plated grab rail and silencer guard and will carry a specially designed 1 crore celebration sticker.

The special edition TVS XL Super is available in TVS Dealerships in Tamilnadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and parts of Karnataka.

TVS Motor is the 3rd largest two-wheeler manufacturer in India and one among the top ten in the world, with annual revenue of more than Rs. 10,131 Cr in 2014-15 (around USD 1.6 billion), and The company has a production capacity of 3 million 2 wheelers & 1.2 Lakh 3 wheelers a year.
