Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) have reduced their shareholding in IDBI Bank to 2.91% at the end of June 2015 quarter from 3.34% as on Mar 31, 2015. However, domestic institutional investors’ (DIIs) shareholding went up to 10.87% at the end of June 2015 quarter from 10.83% as on Mar 31, 2015. Furthermore, Non Institutions were holding 9.72 percent stake at the end of June 2015 quarter, up 39 basis points from 9.33% as on Mar 31, 2015, while Corporate bodies were holding 1.29% stake at the end of June 2015 quarter, up 9 basis points from 1.2% as on Mar 31, 2015.
IDBI Bank has posted a rise of 5.35% in its net profit at Rs 545.94 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015 as compared to Rs 518.23 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank has increased by 19.27% at Rs 9382.37 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 7866.52 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2014.
