Axis Bank trades higher on the bourses

Axis Bank is currently trading at Rs. 585.35, up by 3.40 points or 0.58% from its previous closing of Rs. 581.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 582.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 587.35 and Rs. 581.00 respectively. So far 67482 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 655.35 on 04-Mar-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 361.81 on 14-Jul-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 587.35 and Rs. 567.35 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 138924.80 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 27.93% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 59.38% and 8.97% respectively.

Private sector lender Axis Bank is expecting a loan growth of 12-14% in FY16 on the back of economic and investment recovery. Moreover, the bank is expecting a deposit growth in the range of 12-13% in this fiscal.

The bank had recorded a loan growth of 22% in the fiscal ended March 2015 while total deposit increased by 15% during the year. At the end of March 2015, total advances stood at Rs 281,083 crore while total deposits were Rs 3,22,442 crore. The bank’s capital management framework helps ensure an appropriate composition of capital and an optimal mix of businesses.
