Havells India is currently trading at Rs. 299.65, up by 2.35 points or 0.79% from its previous closing of Rs. 297.30 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 298.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 303.20 and Rs. 297.70 respectively. So far 32839 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 346.15 on 10-Dec-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 227.60 on 04-Aug-2014.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 305.00 and Rs. 295.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 18831.32 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 61.63% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 28.74% and 9.63% respectively.
Havells India is reportedly expecting a growth of 20% from its switchgear business in Odisha in FY16. The company is eying sales of Rs 15 crore from building circuit protection devices in the state by end of 2016-17.
Havells is the market leader nationwide with a share of 28 per cent in the switchgear segment. The organised domestic switchgear market is estimated to Rs 2,200 crore per annum for 2015-16.
