Agrochemicals firm Insecticides India (IIL) is targeting to take top-line to Rs 1,200 crore by the end of FY16. The company is entering into the export domain starting from Asian and African markets.
At the end of 2014-15, the company touched a top line of Rs 865 crore and expects it to grow to Rs 1,200 crore in 2015-16. IIL has also turned its attention to greater investment in research and development (R&D) and production of new indigenous molecules.
Recently, the company partnered with Tokyo- based OAT Agrio Company to set up an ultra modern R&D centre, in Chopanki, Rajasthan for discovery of new agrochemical molecules.
Insecticides India is a leading agro-chemical and pesticides manufacturer. The company has formulation facilities in Chopanki in Rajasthan, Samba and Udhampur in Jammu & Kashmir and Dahej in Gujarat. It also has plants at Chopanki and Dahej to manufacture technical grade chemicals.
