SJVN has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2015.
The company has reported 14.17% rise in its net profit at Rs 484.43 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2015 as compared to Rs 424.29 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The company’s total income has increased by 24.53% to Rs 920.35 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 739.08 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
SJVN is a joint venture between the Central government and Himachal Pradesh state government. The company owns and operates India’s largest 1500 MW Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station in Himachal Pradesh.
