Hero MotoCorp has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2015.
The company has reported 33.33% rise in its net profit at Rs 750.34 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2015 as compared to Rs 562.76 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, the company’s total income has decreased by 1.29% to Rs 7057.18 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 7149.59 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
Hero MotoCorp is the World’s single largest two-wheeler motorcycle company. Honda Motor Company of Japan and the Hero Group entered a joint venture to setup Hero Honda Motors in 1984. Hero Honda Motors changed its name to Hero MotoCorp following the exit of its erstwhile Japanese promoter, Honda, from the company.
