Maruti Suzuki reports 19% rise in July production

Maruti Suzuki India, country’s largest car maker, has reported 19.46% rise in its production to 133311 units in July 2015 as compared to 111596 units in same month last year. Of total, the company manufactured 48729 vehicles under mini segment (including Alto, A Star, Wagon R) in July 2015, as against 40698 vehicles manufactured in corresponding month previous year. The company manufactured 53,583 vehicles under Compact segment; 9,074 vehicles under Super Compact and Midsize; 9,174 units under Utility Vehicles segment and 12,751 units under Vans category.

Recently, the company had registered a rise of 20.1% in its total car sales (Domestic + Export) for the month of July 2015 at 121,712 units, as against 101,380 units in July 2014. The company’s domestic sales rose by 22.5% in July 2015 at 110,405 units, as against 90,093 units in corresponding month last year
