Vakrangee gains on plan to open 37,000 centres

Vakrangee is currently trading at Rs 167.50, up by 0.40 points or 0.24% from its previous closing of Rs. 167.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 170.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 170.70 and Rs. 167.10 respectively. So far 75559 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 169.95 on 23-Jul-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 86.55 on 03-Jun-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 169.00 and Rs. 158.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 8457.24 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 38.71% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 13.27% and 48.02% respectively.

Vakrangee is planning to open more than 37,000 centres across the country as part of its tie-up with Amazon India to help the ecommerce giant sell in rural and semi-urban areas. Recently, the company had entered into a strategic tie up with Amazon India to provide marketing, sales and pick-up services through its centres, called Vakrangee Kendras in India. Currently, the company has 12,568 centres, with the aim to have 50,000 plus Centres in next two years.
