HDFC Bank launches digital account opening system and credit cards

HDFC Bank has launched a digital account opening system and credit cards for start-ups at Startup Village in Kochi. The exclusive business card offered by Bank is customized, bearing the Startup Village brand on it.  With this, companies in the Village can open a current account by filling up an online form and can be completed without having to visit the branch. The bank is partnering with Startup Village that represents India’s young and innovative minds to enable them realize their dreams.

HDFC Bank is one of India’s premier banks providing a wide range of financial products and services to its 32 million customers across hundreds of Indian cities using multiple distribution channels including a pan-India network of branches, ATMs, phone banking, net banking and mobile banking. As of June 30, 2015, the bank had a distribution network with 4,101 branches and 11,962 ATMs.
