Engineers India reports 29% fall in Q1 net profit

Engineers India has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2015.

The company has reported a fall of 29.36% in its net profit at Rs 56.8 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2015 as compared to Rs 80.40 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The company’s total income has decreased by 9.04% to Rs 459.15 crore for the quarter under review, from Rs 504.77 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

Engineers India is a total solutions consultancy company and EPC contractor in petroleum refining, petrochemicals, pipelines, oil and gas terminals and storages, fertilizers, mining & metallurgy and infrastructure projects. The company is also diversifying into water and waste management and has made inroads into nuclear, solar and thermal power sectors.
