Hindustan Copper has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2015.
The company has reported a rise of 10.38% in its net profit at Rs 14.57 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2015 as compared to Rs 13.20 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, the company’s total income has decreased by 21.16% to Rs 246.73 crore for the quarter under review, from Rs 312.94 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
Hindustan Copper’s principal activities include mining of copper ore, concentration of copper ore into copper concentrate through a beneficiation process and also smelting, refining and extruding of the copper concentrate into refined copper in downstream saleable products.
