The company has reported 15.22% rise in its net profit at Rs 122.09 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2015 as compared to Rs 105.96 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The company’s total income has increased by 11.18% to Rs 1150.59 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 1034.91 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
Amara Raja Batteries is engaged in manufacturing of industrial and automotive batteries. It was founded in 1985. ARBL was first to introduce Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) batteries with three-year warranty in industrial and automotive applications.
