Gayatri Projects surges on bagging order Rs. 675 crore form NHAI

Gayatri Projects is currently trading at Rs 418.10, up by 6.40 points or 1.55% from its previous closing of Rs 411.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 412.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 422.00 and Rs. 409.00 respectively. So far 19775 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 464.60 on 06-Aug-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 108.05 on 19-Aug-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 462.40 and Rs. 408.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1420.90 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 50.32% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 36.40% and 13.27% respectively

Gayatri Projects has bagged a Rs. 675-crore road contract from National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). The order is for development of six-lane Eastern Peripheral Expressway (NH No. NE-II) in the state of Haryana and Uttar Pradesh package -VI from KM 114.000 to km 136.000 on EPC mode.

Gayatri Projects is a Hyderabad-based infrastructure and construction company with a presence across the segment, primarily undertaking road and irrigation projects.
