SBT launches new mobile ATM facility

With an aim to bring banking facility at the doorstep of customers, State Bank of Travancore (SBT) has launched a new mobile ATM in Thiruvanathapuram, Kerala's capital. The mobile ATM, which also serves as an Information Kiosk to public to help them know about banking products and services, moves from place to place in the city, delivering customers safe and swift banking. The ATM is installed in a mobile air-conditioned van equipped with uninterrupted power, CCTV and guarded security with satellite connectivity.

State Bank of Travancore (SBT) was incorporated in 1945 as Travancore Bank sponsored by the erstwhile princely state of Travancore. Under a special statute of the Indian Parliament (SBI subsidiary Banks Act 1959) it has been made an Associate of the State Bank of India and a member of the State Bank Group, the largest banking group in India. The Bank is alive to its developmental role and actively participates in meeting need based requirements of Small and Medium Enterprises and Agriculture.
