Bajaj Auto recalls Pulsar 220cc to fix faulty starter motors

Bajaj Auto, country's second largest two-wheeler maker is recalling some units of its Pulsar 220cc DTS-i motorcycle to fix problems in their starter motors. The company is going for faulty part replacement.

The dealers of the Pulsar are compulsorily calling customers to ask them to bring the motorcycles for the changes. The faulty part will be changed free of cost and the process will take around 15-20 minutes. This problem is a technical glitch and company is dealing with it as a routine after-sales issues.

Bajaj Auto, the country's second largest two-wheeler maker’s monthly sales for January 2012 rose by 8% at 337,000 units, marginally lower than estimated. The exports for the month rose 13% and the numbers of units sold were 116,000 units.
