IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from Madhyanchal Vidyut Vutran Nigam (MVVNL) for Rural Electrification (RE) works in Shahjahanpur district of Utter Pradesh on a turkey basis under Government of India Scheme of Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gram jyoti Yojana (DDUGJY) phase-II. The total value of this contract is Rs 190.88 crore and the project completion period is 24 months.
As part of this scheme, 1961 villages of Shahjahanpur district will be electrified that will result in provision of 39880 Nos. of services connections to BPL (Below Poverty Line) card holders. This project is funded by REC under the Eleventh Programme.
