IL&FS Transportation strengthens on plan to raise Rs 1,000 crore

IL&FS Transportation Networks is currently trading at Rs. 92.10, up by 2.15 points or 2.39% from its previous closing of Rs. 89.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 91.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 93.50 and Rs. 90.50 respectively. So far 11708 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 229.10 on 02-Mar-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 87.05 on 25-Aug-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 116.95 and Rs. 87.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2269.82 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 70.79% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 10.16% and 19.05% respectively.

IL&FS Transportation Networks is planning to raise upto Rs 1,000 crore to augment its long-term resources. The company would seek shareholders’ approval for the same in the ensuing annual general meeting, which is scheduled for August 26, 2015.

IL&FS Transportation Networks has been involved in the development, operation and maintenance of national and state highways, roads (including urban roads), flyovers and bridges in Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, Jharkhand and Rajasthan.
