United Bank of India has inaugurated a new branch at Digsui under its Hooghly region on February 21, 2012. The branch was inaugurated by CMD of the bank.
Credit delivery camp was also organized during the inauguration of the branch, wherein loans worth approximately Rs 26.61 crore were sanctioned to 685 numbers of borrowers. Also, sanction letters were given to 660 number of DRI beneficiaries with advance of Rs 98 lakh.
United Bank of India has emerged as a strong and efficient banking organisation over the years and plays an integral role in the socio-economic development of the Eastern and North-Eastern States of the country.
