Lanco Infratech surges on plan to invest up to Rs 6,000 crore through securities

Lanco Infratech is currently trading at Rs. 2.77, up by 0.05 points or 1.84% from its previous closing of Rs. 2.72 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2.84 and Rs. 2.72 respectively. So far 195652 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 9.00 on 11-Sep-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2.46 on 25-Aug-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 3.00 and Rs. 2.65 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 700.53 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 67.45% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 6.18% and 26.37% respectively.

Lanco Infratech will seek shareholders’ approval to invest up to Rs 6,000 crore through securities in companies, including its subsidiaries, to meet its capital commitments. For the period ended March 31, 2015, the firm had made an investment in other companies through securities worth Rs 10,959.25 crore, which includes investment in its wholly-owned subsidiaries, subsidiaries and associate companies.
