Kalpataru Power advances on plan to raise up to Rs 300 crore on private placement basis

Kalpataru Power Transmission is currently trading at Rs. 235.15, up by 5.25 points or 2.28% from its previous closing of Rs. 229.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 228.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 235.15 and Rs. 228.40 respectively.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 291.80 on 06-Aug-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 129.00 on 17-Oct-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 252.35 and Rs. 228.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3,608.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 59.45% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 31.04% and 9.50% respectively.

Kalpataru Power Transmission (KPTL) will seek shareholders’ nod to issue securities for up to Rs 300 crore on a private placement basis. The company proposes to make an offer of or invite subscription to secured/unsecured redeemable non-convertible debentures in one or more series/tranches. The approval for issuing NCDs will be sought from shareholders at the annual general meeting to be held on September 29.
