IL&FS Transportation’s arm inks concession agreement for Amravati-Chikhli section

IL&FS Transportation Networks’ wholly owned subsidiary - Amravati Chikli Expressway, has inked a concession agreement for development of 4-laning of Amravati-Chikhli (Package-I) section of NH-6 in the State of Maharashtra from Km. 166.000 to Km. 360.000.

The company has inked agreement with National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) on Build Operate Transfer (BOT) basis on September 8, 2015. The project is on toll basis with a concession period of 19 years including construction period of 910 days and the estimated cost of the project is Rs 2,288.18 crore. The company had quoted a grant of Rs 183.05 crore for the project.

IL&FS Transportation Networks has been involved in the development, operation and maintenance of national and state highways, roads (including urban roads), flyovers and bridges in Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, Jharkhand and Rajasthan.
