Sundaram Multi Pap’s wholly owned subsidiary E-Class Education system has bagged Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) tender along with Techno Eketronies. The company will provide educational content for the 22,799 tablets for a period of 3 years. These tablets will be given to 8th standard students currently and will be upgraded for 9th and 10th standard content in the coming years.
The company has partnered with Techno Electronics - a company into hardware and android tablet manufacturing for the given tablet tender by BMC. The tender was filled jointly by both the companies and they have been selected for the said project after completing all procedures successfully. The company has received the letter of acceptance from the BMC, and also a final purchase order.
Sundaram Multi Pap (SMPL) is engaged in the manufacture of notebooks, account books, other paper stationery products, Kraft paper and trading of office paper stationery. Its operating facilities are located at Palghar, Nagpur and Kandla (SEZ facility). It sells its products in local as well as exports market.
