Steel Strips Wheels (SSWL) has entered into an agreement with Kalnik Company to set up a most modern Alloy Wheel manufacturing facility at Mehsana, Gujarat for an initial capacity of 1.5 million Alloy Wheel Rims per annum with sizes ranging from ‘14’ to ‘19'.
This pact is to address the growing demand of alloy wheels from Original equipment manufacturer (OEM) vs. the current supply and expected capacity in the next 5 years and also India's strategic advantage in exporting these wheels.
SSWL is a part of the Steel Strips Group, headquartered in Chandigarh. It is engaged in the manufacturing of single piece steel wheel rims in the range of 10 to 30 inches for scooters, passenger cars, utility vehicles and tractors. It supplies rims to almost all major manufacturers of two wheelers, three wheelers, four wheelers, tractors and heavy commercial vehicle.
