Nitta Gelatin India has informed that K. Ramakrishnan, an independent Director on the Board, had retired at Annual General Meeting of the Company on September 08, 2015. He was not reappointed. The Board of Directors had at their meeting held later that day, inducted K. Cherian Varghese as an Additional Director, who would also be an independent Director, in place of K. Ramakrishnan. K.Cherian Varghese is a Banker in his own merits, having had served as Chairman In Union Bank, Corporation Bank, also as Chairman of BIFR. All procedural formalities envisaged under the Law for appointment of Independent Director(s), are being taken care.
