Maruti Suzuki unveils limited edition of Swift hatchback ‘Glory’

Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) has unveiled ‘Glory’ a limited edition of the popular Swift hatchback, with some cosmetic updates and additional features.  The Glory will be made available in both petrol and diesel engine options with VXi and VDi variants.

This new special edition of Swift Glory features which includes racing stripes, side skirts, wing mirrors, blackened C-pillars, side decals, a contrast red roof, sporty front and rear bumpers and a rear spoiler. This edition will be offered in White color with metallic red roof. Inside the cabin, the car gets new multimedia system with Apple and Android compatibility and Bluetooth connectivity, dual-tone red-and-black seat upholstery, all-black dashboard, new floor mates, a steering wheel and gear cover, a rear view camera and reverse parking assist. Since it’s just a special edition, no mechanical changes have made to the car.

Maruti Suzuki India, country’s largest car maker, has registered a rise of 3.7% in its total car sales (Domestic + Export) for the month of September 2015 at 113,759 units, as against 109,742 units in 2014. The company’s domestic sales rose by 6.8% in 2015 at 106083 units, as against 99290 units in corresponding month last year.
