Axis Bank trades higher on the bourses

Axis Bank is currently trading at Rs. 496.50, up by 5.15 points or 1.05% from its previous closing of Rs. 491.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 495.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 498.90 and Rs. 495.00 respectively. So far 99196 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 655.35 on 04-Mar-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 375.00 on 13-Oct-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 518.50 and Rs. 484.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 116842.14 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 29.19%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 57.86% and 9.12% respectively.

Axis Bank, the country’s largest private sector lender, unveiled a slew of mobile banking applications for its corporate clients which would help the bank grow its corporate customer base. The bank has launched four key solutions for its corporate clients - tab-based internet banking solution, pay connect, trade finance connect and forex connect. The applications are more convenient and would allow the banks corporate clients a faster turnaround time.

Axis Bank is the third largest private sector bank in India. The bank offers the entire spectrum of financial services to customer segments covering Large and Mid-Corporates, MSME, Agriculture and Retail Businesses.
