Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) have raised their stake in Bajaj Auto by 283 basis points to 17.76 percent in Q2FY16 as compared to 14.93 percent in Q1FY16. However, the domestic institutional investors (DIIs) have reduced their stake in the company by 292 basis points to 8.13 percent at the end of September 2015 quarter from 11.05 percent as on June 30, 2015.
Meanwhile, non institutions were holding 24.8 percent stake in the company at the end of September 2015 quarter, up 4 basis points from 24.76 percent as on June 30, 2015, while the corporate bodies were holding 8.25 percent stake at the end of September 2015 quarter, up 5 basis points from 8.2 percent as on June 30, 2015.
Further, the promoters have raised their shareholding by 5 basis points to 49.29 percent at the end of September 2015 quarter from 49.24 percent as on June 30, 2015.
