Steel Strips Wheels (SSWL) has bagged exports order for supply of unassembled Steel wheels for supplies to Egypt market. The total order value would be about $2.8 million for supplying approximately 360,000 unassembled wheels in a period of 3 years. Orders would be executed from the company’s Dappar plant. This order marks entry of the company into a new geography.
SSWL is closely working with this customer for development of more wheel variants and additional orders are expected in coming months.
SSWL is a part of the Steel Strips Group, headquartered in Chandigarh. It is engaged in the manufacturing of single piece steel wheel rims in the range of 10 to 30 inches for scooters, passenger cars, utility vehicles and tractors. It supplies rims to almost all major manufacturers of two wheelers, three wheelers, four wheelers, tractors and heavy commercial vehicle.
