TVS Motor Company has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2015.

The company has reported 22.78% rise in its net profit at Rs 116.41 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015 as compared to Rs 94.81 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The company’s total income has increased by 7.96% to Rs 2886.45 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 2673.58 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

TVS Motor Company is the third largest two-wheeler manufacturer in India and one among the top ten in the world, with annual revenue of more than Rs. 10,131 crore in 2014-15 (around USD 1.6 billion), and is the flagship company of the, USD 7.29 billion in 2013-14, TVS Group. The company has a production capacity of 3 million 2 wheelers & 1.2 Lakh 3 wheelers a year.
