City Union Bank reports 15% rise in Q2 net profit

City Union Bank has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2015.

The bank has posted a rise of 15.04% in its net profit at Rs 107.85 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015 as compared to Rs 93.75 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income has increased by 7.30% at Rs 829.45 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 773.00 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2014.

The bank’s gross NPA for the July-September quarter of the current fiscal increased to 1.36%, as compared to 1.30% in the same quarter of the previous year. Besides, bank’s Net NPA stood at 2.10% in Q2FY16.
