HCC, in joint venture with John Laing Investment Ltd and Sadbhav Engineering Ltd has bagged order from National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) to construct the 96.5 km highway from Maharashtra-Madhya Pradesh Border to Dhule on NH - 3 on BOT basis. The HCC-Laing-Sadbhav consortium will have exposure in the ratio of 37:36:27.

 

The contract envisages Design, Engineering, Finance, Procurement, Construction, Operation and maintenance of 96.5 kms of six lane highways. The cost of the project is estimated at about Rs 1415 crores. The company has received the letter of award from NHAI for this project with concession period of 18 years including the construction period of 30 months.

 

This is part of the National highway Development Programme (NHDP) - Phase Ill-A which consists of widening and strengthening of 4,000 kms of National Highways on BOT basis. NHAI has taken up a programme for upgradation of 10,000 kms of National highways under NHDP - Phase III for corridors having high-density traffic, connecting centers of tourism and places of economic importance.
