Indraprastha Gas has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2015.
The company has reported 15.07% fall in its net profit at Rs 101.59 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015 as compared to Rs 119.61 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, the company’s total income has increased by 1.68% to Rs 975.73 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 959.6 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
Indraprastha Gas, incorporated in 1998, is engaged in distribution of CNG and PNG in Delhi. In 1999 the company took over Delhi City Gas Distribution Project from GAIL (India). IGL laid the network for the distribution of natural gas in the National Capital of Delhi to consumers in the domestic, transport, and commercial sectors.
