Central Bank of India reports 10% rise in Q2 net profit

Central Bank of India has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2015.

The bank has reported 9.68% rise in its net profit at Rs 112.87 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015 as compared to Rs 102.91 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The bank’s total income has increased by 1.18% to Rs 7104.19 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 7021.1 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

Gross non-performing assets (NPAs) of the bank have increased to 6.86% for the quarter as against 6.14% in the same quarter previous year. Besides, bank’s Net NPA stood at 3.83% in Q2FY16.
