Waterbase gains on accepting OTS approval received from Canara Bank

Waterbase is currently trading at Rs. 124.00, up by 2.30 points or 1.89% from its previous closing of Rs. 121.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 124.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 125.00 and Rs. 123.50 respectively. So far 8,553 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 176.90 on 14-Oct-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 44.00 on 17-Dec-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 125.00 and Rs. 114.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 478.68 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 52.47%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.02% and 47.51% respectively.

Waterbase has considered and accepted the one time settlement (OTS) approval received from Canara Bank for settling all the outstanding dues. As per the terms of the OTS, the company shall settle the dues to Canara Bank by paying Rs 7.80 crore, which includes interest.

Towards this settlement, the company has made an initial payment of Rs 4 crore on November 18, 2015. The balance amount will be settled by the company within the time frame granted by the bank under the OTS which is within December 09, 2015.

Waterbase is the largest integrated aquaculture unit in India located in the heart of shrimp country at Nellore in Andhra Pradesh.
