Kajaria Ceramics shines on plan to start new manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh

Kajaria Ceramics is currently trading at Rs. 925.10, up by 47.15 points or 5.37% from its previous closing of Rs. 877.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 882.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 960.00 and Rs. 882.00 respectively. So far 9224 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 960.00 on 20-Nov-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 540.80 on 18-Dec-2014.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 960.00 and Rs. 846.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 7493.93 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 47.18% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 29.57% and 23.25% respectively.

Kajaria Ceramics is planning to start new manufacturing plant of vitrified tiles in Andhra Pradesh. The plant to be commissioned by 2017 will cater to the tile needs of the southern region.

Further, the company is adding a new manufacturing facility in Virat Nagar, Rajasthan, which will be operational by next month. Currently, the company has eight manufacturing facilities in the country.

Kajaria Ceramics is the largest manufacturer of ceramic/vitrified tiles in India. It has an annual aggregate capacity of 54.10 mn. sq. meters, distributed across seven plants-Sikandrabad in Uttar Pradesh, Gailpur in Rajasthan, four plants in Morbi in Gujarat and one at Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh.
