Hero MotoCorp jumps on selling 550,731 units in November 2015

Hero MotoCorp is currently trading at Rs. 2689.70, up by 11.95 points or 0.45% from its previous closing of Rs. 2677.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2674.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2699.90 and Rs. 2666.75 respectively. So far 3565 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 3258.00 on 01-Dec-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2252.00 on 08-May-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2732.00 and Rs. 2610.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 53471.32 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 34.64% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 52.00% and 13.36% respectively.

Hero MotoCorp (HMCL), the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, has registered 0.60% growth in November 2015 by selling 550,731 units as compared to 547,413 units sold in the corresponding month last year. During the month, HMCL has achieved the landmark 1 million unit sales during the 35-day festive period starting with the Navratras, a robust 11% growth over the corresponding period last year.

Hero MotoCorp is the world’s single largest two-wheeler motorcycle company. Hero Honda Motors changed its name to Hero MotoCorp following the exit of its erstwhile Japanese promoter, Honda, from the company.
