Karur Vysya Bank (KVB) has decided to donate Rs 2 crore for flood relief in Chennai. The cheque will be issued to the Chief Minister’s Flood Relief Fund from the bank’s CSR Fund. The bank had advised its staff in Chennai to distribute food packets and bottled water to those in distress.
Karur Vysya Bank is among six old generation private sector banks that have been identified by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to implement Speed Clearing at Mumbai.
